    Description

    36 pages including covers
Main article: "Homeric - 'Ship fo Splendor'" by Ray Lepien - Part I of a two-part, two-issue history of the White Star Line's R.M.S. HOMERIC, launched as North German Lloyd's COLUMBUS but ceded to Britain as a war prize at the end of the 1914-1918 conflict. Part I is 24 pages long, is richly illustrated with photo images and tells the HOMERIC's story from inception to the beginning of 1925.
The remainder of the issue is devoted to pages of private photographs under the title "Scrapbook Photographs". Images include RMS OLYMPIC in the 1920's & 1930's, RMS MAURETANIA in her cruising livery in the 1930's, RMS TITANIC on the day of her launch immediately before the ceremony and one image of her just after her launch.
